Discover My Story

I’m Isabella, a native English-speaking wedding planner living in France with a background in hospitality, luxury destination weddings and bilingual planning. My approach combines calm co-ordination, attention to detail and a genuine love for creating meaningful moments that feel effortless from beginning to end.

I am the creator of “Weddings by Isabella Jayne”, a small, personal wedding planning service based in South-West France. I work very closely with a limited number of couples, offering a calm, hands-on and highly tailored approach throughout the planning journey.

Originally from England, I moved to France in 2004, therefore I am ‘au fait’ with French culture. I can seamlessly support international couples planning their wedding in France, making communication with venues and suppliers smooth and stress-free.

My background began in hospitality, training as a chef and working within the events world, particularly weddings.

It was there, behind the scenes, that I first fell in love with the atmosphere of a wedding day - the anticipation before guests arrive, the energy in the room and the quiet precision required to make everything flow effortlessly.

As my experience grew, I realised how much I loved the orchestration of it all, not just the food or the service but the way every small detail unfolded. I then worked on Lake Como as a wedding planner’s assistant, where I was immersed in the world of luxury destination weddings and where I learnt the importance of timing, calm co-ordination and thoughtful design.

Eventually, I returned to France to create “Weddings by Isabella Jayne” built upon my hospitality background, international experience and my love for beautiful celebrations.

Today, I work closely with a very limited number of couples to ensure a truly personal service. I am highly organised, detail-focused and deeply invested in how a wedding feels as much as how it looks. I notice the small, often unseen details which shape the atmosphere of a day and I take care of everything behind the scenes.

My favourite part of the day

What I love most is ‘stepping back’ on the wedding day and watching everything quietly come to fruition. The planning fades away and what remains is a celebration that feels completely natural, effortless and true to the couple’s dreams.
